Pretty soon the biggest political and freedom opressing blackhole known as Guantanamo Bay detainee facility will finally be shut down. For many years to come, America will have a black eye from its existence. Somewhere along the way of “defending freedom” the White House decided they would create a facility to place all alleged terrorists, abrubtly taking away their freedoms upon entry.

Guantanamo Bay has been known for its abuse and mistreatment of detainees. Many of the prisoners from varying countries are held for accusations of terrorism, and not from solid evidence.

The captives held have been a large factor in the increasing anti-American sentiment ever since its inception after 9/11.

The Patriot Act was voted on to help fight back and protect America from another 9/11-like attack. Opening a prison to interrogate and abuse accused terrorists could not have been in the main gameplan from Day 1.
