I was born at some point years back.
I have all of my fingers and toes (not that I would want you to treat me different if this were not so).
I am located in the great DC-metro area.
I enjoy writing about everything from politics to religion, to entertainment of all varieties, especially sports — college and professional football, baseball, basketball and even Olympic skating! I am so confident in my versatility, I may eventually venture off into the world of Chex Mix, economics, marketing and professional pencil fighting.
On Sports…
What I appreciate most about sports is its ability to penetrate the social aspect of the world and bring social realities into question by way of games. Above and beyond the amazing athleticism and courage displayed, sports is a way to bring together persons who wouldn’t normally interact and present a common ground on which to relate and, in a lot more cases, debate.
On Current Events…
I cover current events from time to time in order for normal sports-only minds to realize there are things bigger than sports outside of arenas and stadiums. I swear it. I wouldn’t lie.
On Diversity…
Our world is growing even more diverse by the day, while critical decisions are made which affect our lives as well as our future kids and grandkids and it is important to stay educated on events occurring in the world around us. So read up. Stay informed.
