Terrence --

I don't completely agree. I think their debating would make the GOP primaries closer, but McCain is smooth sailing at this point. Huckabee is lining up his 2012 campaign, so it seems... trying to make his name memorable and reusable down the line.

The GOP candidate, no matter who the person ends up being (and every indicator is that we're one Huckabee concession short of this person being McCain), will have a tough time taking the White House in November.

That Governor of Massachusetts is a big Obama supporter... who also used Obama's campaign manager, David Axelrod, during his own campaign. I wrote about his and Obama's Wisconsin victory on my latest post --

If John McCain debates Mike Huckabee one on one, he will lose every primary from here to the convention. If he does not, he will look weaker and weaker against the Democrat nominee.

Being Native American Indian we as a Nation in a Nation have through out the 500 plus years have been left in darkness in terms of politics. There has been in our history only two known Democratic Candidates that looked as being first citizens and of this land. Those Candidates were John Kennedy, Robert Kennedy and William Clinton.

History has been our teacher; she has taught the tapestry of the trail of the Treaties, we learned through treaties of the lies, murder, theft and rape of a nation. Has always been our landmark of treatment from the United States government and its Politics.

Once again as history repeats it’s self we are without a voice, a face to say the least. The only time any political candidate views us is when a vote is needed. We have set quietly and watched and do know history. In 1862 the Sioux up rising in Minnesota our headsmen and chiefs paid the highest price of all they paid with their life all for Politics as did every Indian Nations within this land. Thirty nine men scheduled to be hung in Mankato Minnesota one was an African American who’s was later Identified as being the person committing the rapes and murders. He turned Government witness against the Sioux Nation of that time. Thirty eight Treaty Chiefs and headsmen were hung until death came to their bodies. Just a little bit of history. To say nothing about the 1868 treaty, Battle of Little Big Horn. The government and its army thought the Great Sioux Nation was gathered at the Big Horns to for war. This is so far from the truth my people we gathered discussing the fate of a nation and our way of life as we knew it. Custer, before coming to the location of the Big Horns pasted through our sacred spiritual mountain. He camped at the foot of what is known to my people as Bear Butt. Late the night of his encampment Custer along with a three soldiers climbed to the top of the mountain. Custer wanted to know why we gathered there. He thought it was a military base. Mountain was sacred to my people and still is. Custer was given a vision he was shown he would be taking his soldiers to their death before their time. Custer did not listen we moved forward instead as a result his soldiers did die before their time.

Democratic Candidates, have yet to address the needs of my people now they are coming to the place we call our birth place we are the Great Lakota Nation. They want our vote, first start speaking the truth don’t they think we have been lied too enough. We are not children, we are not invisible, we are not here to be murdered or hated, above all stop stealing from us at best let us live. We as a Nation do vote .

Dear Tim,
I'm sorry to hear about your struggles with caffeine addiction. I too have fought that uphill battle myself, but I won. The best way to conquer an addiction like that is to find a replacement. I found crack. It has truly saved my life. Try it sometime.
